Certified Birth Doula, Childbirth Educator, Registered Yoga Teacher
From the very beginning, birth captivated me—a powerful, transformative event that celebrates the resilience and intuition of the human body.
Since 2015, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting families through all stages of their reproductive journeys. It started with guiding fellow bereaved mothers and naturally evolved into the comprehensive care I now provide as a birth doula and childbirth educator. My training with Birth Arts International in 2017 marked the beginning of this deeply fulfilling path, grounded in evidence-based practices, compassionate advocacy, and unwavering support.
To date, I’ve worked with hundreds of families through diverse and dynamic birth and postpartum experiences. My role isn’t just to assist but to truly partner with you—offering tailored guidance, empowering education, and steady reassurance. Birth is such an individual journey, and I hold space for your unique story—whether it’s an unmedicated birth, a cesarean, an induction, or one that includes pain management. My focus is to ensure you feel informed, equipped, and nurtured every step of the way.
I believe preparation and education are powerful gifts.
That’s why I’m always seeking out advanced certifications, workshops and trainings to refine my skills. I bring a well-rounded approach, combining the latest evidence-based practices, insights from leading organizations, and collaborative relationships with local providers—all to elevate the care you receive.
Yoga is another essential pillar of my work. With over 500 hours of training—including certification from the renowned Caribe Yoga Academy in Costa Rica and ongoing advanced prenatal and postpartum yoga studies—I’ve seen firsthand how the connection between breath, movement, and mindfulness transforms the birthing experience. These tools are invaluable, helping parents tap into their strength and find calm when it matters most.
Both birth and yoga have taught me that the body, when trusted and supported, has immense wisdom—and that’s a lesson I’m honored to bring into every birth I attend.
Whether I’m supporting you during your birth or guiding you through childbirth education, my goal is always the same: to provide a foundation of trust, empowerment, and care that’s tailored to your needs—so you can embrace your journey with confidence.
When I’m not at a birth or teaching, you’ll find me enjoying DC’s vibrant neighborhoods, making memories with my son, Maddox, or diving into creative pursuits like baking or reading. Supporting families is such a privilege, and I’m endlessly grateful to walk alongside you during one of the most transformative seasons of your life.
